Join veteran yoga instructor, Kim Slader, for an hour of relaxation as you melt away the stress of yesterday with a Yoga Fundamentals class. Kim will lead the group through the basics of stretching and yoga poses for yogis of all levels. Kim is adept at modifications and adjusting so that you can get the most out of your practice. Bring your mat, your water, and any other essentials you need (blocks, straps, etc) to practice with Kim at the ARTfactory.

Do you love creating comics, cartoons, and anime sketches?  Improve your character illustration skills and personal style. We will look at Eastern and Western comics, and then use hand drawing techniques to illustrate a page, just like the professionals!   Supplies provided.

In this multi-media class, instructor Mike Flynn will guide students through four different projects using ink pen and watercolor paint. Students will conquer a new project each week, and learn the fundamentals of using both pen and paint to create beautiful art. This class is designed for students (beginner to intermediate) who want to explore the unique principles of watercolor: transparency, speed, & spontaneity. Classes will emphasize and demonstrate brush work, color mixing, wash techniques, value patterns, design layout, and composition. Class may be taken multiple times; subject matter will vary among a variety of landscapes, seascapes, florals, & still-life. Little painters bring your smocks! Join this art class where tiny hands create big masterpieces fit for the refrigerator door! With instruction and lessons about some really famous painters (Like Picasso!) campers will use some of the most widely known painting styles to create their own art pieces. Look out Picasso!

Join artist Michele Frantz for a 5 lesson session in acrylic painting!  Versatile and forgiving, acrylic paints may be manipulated with a wide array of techniques, applied to many different surfaces, and modified with various additives.

Students new to acrylics will learn introductory basics; experienced students will improve their skills and explore new directions.
