Join us for a workshop that will delve into capturing character in pet portraits, with a focus on the eyes as the windows to the soul.

Artist Valerie Larson will introduce two helpful methods of transferring a photo image to watercolor paper. These methods will allow you to easily achieve correct proportions and have more fun with the portrait-painting process! Students can bring a favorite close-up pet photo to work from or follow along with the photo provided.

Brushes and paper will be provided via the supply fee. You will need to bring your own watercolor paints!

Join us for a four-week course exploring flora and fauna from around the world through watercolor paints! 

Artist Mike Flynn will guide students through the tips and techniques that will help their paintings come to life. Every class will focus on a different subject, provided by the instructor.

Join artist Michele Frantz for an evening class in watercolor painting.  

Explore the colors of fall using the beautiful fluidity and transparency of watercolor. Students new to watercolor will learn introductory basics; more experienced students will have the chance to improve their skills and explore new directions.

Lose yourself in this relaxing watercolor class, where you can take your mind out of your everyday life and submerge into your paper. Unleash your creativity,  and let your imagination take over in this meditative watercolor class.

This free wellness workshop is open to all levels, and no painting experience is needed.

This FREE wellness class is brought to you in partnership with UVA Health.

Looking to shake up your approach to watercolors? This class will show you how to elevate your paintings with ink accents that help your subjects pop!

In this multi-media class, instructor Mike Flynn will guide students through four different projects using ink pen and watercolor paint.

Students will conquer a new project each week, and learn the fundamentals of using both pen and paint to create beautiful art. Some watercolor experience is helpful, but no required, for this class!
