Character Creation for Kids (5-8)

This imaginative class teaches young performers how to bring a character to life through acting, movement, and playful storytelling.
Each week, students explore how characters think, feel, move, and express themselves, turning simple ideas into fully realized personalities. Through theatre games, creative exercises, and guided exploration, kids will practice using their voices, bodies, and imaginations to step into someone new.
This class is designed for children with or without prior theatre experience. Every activity is welcoming, accessible, and beginner-friendly, offering gentle challenges for more confident young performers while keeping things fun and comfortable for brand-new students.

Do you have a little that loves to live large? Come out to our brand new theatre class for kids ages 3-5!
Students will bring beloved storybooks to life through imagination and acting exploration under the fun and expert guidance of EJ Fultz. This is an introductory class, with a new story each week, so every class is guaranteed to be a fun time. Students will grow in their excitement for theatre and reading!
Parents are encouraged to attend the class with their young ones.

Character Canvas: The Art of Cartooning

Turn your doodles into dynamic heroes and villains!
This intensive, one-off workshop is designed for young artists who want to level up their drawing skills and learn the secrets behind professional character design.
In this session, we’ll dive into the core mechanics of cartooning used by animators and comic book artists. Students will move beyond "flat" drawings by learning how to use 3D construction shapes, exaggerated expressions, and action lines.
Whether you love the style of Manga, Marvel, or Disney, you’ll learn the universal techniques needed to bring your unique ideas to life on the canvas.

The Drawing Lab

This four-session intensive focuses on the core foundations of drawing while exploring a variety of mediums!
Students will move beyond the basics, learning how to "see" like artists and translate the 3D world onto paper. Through guided experiments in line work and value, students will see tangible improvement in their technical ability and creative confidence.

Intro to Theatre for Kids (5-8)

This class is designed for younger students ages 5-8 to begin to learn the fundamentals of acting such as storytelling, creative movement, vocalization, and confidence in front of a group.
The goal of this class is for students to learn these skills in a way that is fun and enjoyable, while also creating a safe environment for students to feel like they can explore. In order to accomplish this, the class is designed with emphasis on different activities and games as opposed to a singular performance.
We will utilize familiar and classic children’s stories, such as Peter Rabbit, The Rainbow Fish, The Three Little Pigs, etc. to build on these skills. Using known stories allows the children to learn how to be creative while still offering a framework for them to follow. For example, if the story we were looking at that day was The Three Little Pigs, we might explore how to act as a pig vs wolf by changing how we move and use our voices, talk about breath support by “blowing down the houses”, and of course act out the story using all of those elements.
In addition to stories we will also play games that encourage creativity and teamwork. These help students grow an awareness of different ways they can move their bodies, as well as strengthens their listening skills. By the end of the class your youngster is guaranteed to have a new appreciation for theatre, and will be ready for more!

Mother Nature's Revenge: Writing Ecohorror

The Art of Writing: Mother Nature’s Revenge is a four-week Eco-Horror themed writing course. The world is on fire, and it only seems to be getting worse by the day.
With climate anxiety at an all-time high, it can help to channel it into writing. In this course, we’ll explore and define the genre of Eco-Horror, from sci-fi horror like Annihilation to fantasy like The Hallow, not just through writing but also discussing our favorite pop cultural examples.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a collection of fresh writing, peer feedback, and practical tools to continue your writing journey beyond the workshop.
Come ready to write, share, and grow.
This workshop is open to writers of all levels and genres.

Springtime Clay Creations

Celebrate the blooming season by getting your hands messy in our Spring Time Clay workshop!
This two-part series is designed for older kids and teens to explore the fun of hand-sculpting and detailed painting.Over two Saturday afternoons, students will use air-dry clay to create nature-inspired art. We’ll spend the first week building our masterpieces and the second week bringing them to life with professional painting techniques.
This short class will be the perfect way to welcome spring with a project you can take home and display!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid runs from July 6-July 25 from 9 am - 3 pm at the ARTfactory. The hours will be 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.
There are three performances: Friday, July 24 at 7 pm, Saturday, July 25 at 10 am and 2 pm Tuition includes a tshirt and two complimentary tickets.
Tuition may be paid in one lump sum of $1,300 or ($1,105 with Membership) or may be divided as follows:
