Arts Exploration Camp Week 6: Superhero/Anime Week (Full Day)

Ages: 5 - 8
The final week of our Summer Season is Superhero/Anime Week! Participants will be led by our expert instructors in activities related to the heroes and villains that inspire us to do amazing things, and be the best versions of ourselves. As with all of our sessions this summer, campers will take art classes in the morning and theatre classes in the afternoon, with breaks to play outdoors at Linton Hall's gorgeous playground facilities.
Please note that lunch is not included, but there will be a supervised lunch period in the cafeteria from 12-12:40 pm every day. A list of allergies will be distributed prior to the start of camp to ensure every camper's safety.
Ages 5-8

Mixed Performing and Visual Arts Camp Week 6: Superhero/Anime Week (Full Day)
Ages: 9 - 12
The final week of our Summer Season is Superhero/Anime Week! Participants will be led by our expert instructors in activities related to the heroes and villains that inspire us to do amazing things, and be the best versions of ourselves. As with all of our sessions this summer, campers will experience a mix of visual and performing arts sessions, with breaks for supervised play outside at Linton Hall's gorgeous playground facilities.

Musical Theatre for Young Actors (8-12)

Ages: 8 - 12
Step into the spotlight and discover the magic of musical theatre!
In this engaging class, students will explore the three pillars of the stage—singing, acting, and dancing—through fun exercises, group numbers, and age-appropriate scenes from popular musicals. Young performers will build confidence, strengthen their stage presence, and develop foundational performance skills while working collaboratively with their peers.
Perfect for aspiring triple threats, this class encourages creativity, teamwork, and a love for the stage!

Scene Study for Young Adults (13-18)
with Shelby Mejia
Ages: 13 - 18
In the scene study class, actors will take specific scenes from movies, television, or plays and apply exercises and techniques to create believable characters and performances. Actors will work with the instructor to build on foundational skills and receive feedback to improve their craft. The class will conclude with a mini presentation of scenes and/or monologues for friends and family on the last day of class.
